港青『讓生活傳承』DIY書展 ( 9/1 -1/2/2011)
@ YMCArts WonderLand Festival 10/11 節目之二

延伸YMCArts『自發作』精神，10位青年**邀請身邊一位長者(如爸爸/婆婆/公公 /牧師，年齡是60-90歲)為創作對象，為長者手作一份生活書。青年藉此和長者打開話匣子，改善彼此關係。於交流中學習傳承上代人的生活技能和手藝。認 識上一代人生活文化。學習謙虛和堅持。承傳美好歲月回憶。

『長者書』的創作微妙地成就香港兩代之間的生活/文化傳承。

展期：9/1 (日) – 1/2/2011(二)
9/1 星期日 opening 3:00-5:00pm

展場：灣仔民間生活館 (藍屋)
時間：1:00-5:00pm (逢星期三及公眾假期休館)

展覽內容：配合藍屋本身承傳香港建築特色，展出10份長者書作(溶入青年只此一家的手作原素) 及 部份創作手稿

書作內容：為長者度身訂做，由大家的生活 / 歷史（香港）出發，青年嘗試發掘出於長輩的生活歷程中共震／共鳴的地方．值得汲取學習的生活技藝

Anna/Nana is now at my home! Thank you Mom & Sin! I and Sin had a nice and funny conversation at the MTR station when picking up Anna/Nana. We talked from tote bags to jobs, from Twitter to Michael Jackson, from strangers to friends… We’d known each other for some time yet our friendship used to be so virtual. (I guess this explains why half of our conversation is about the virtual world : Facebook, Twitter, Myspace…etc. lol) Anyways, it’s always nice to have a friend who is an artist.

I’d promised Sin I would do a promotion for her, so here is the advertisement time: If you like their bags, please support MOM & SIN. ACTION NOW!

Multi-frames are the representation of fragmented memories…
when past, present and future are all compressed in the same space;
when time collapses; when she is dislocated; when she is lost.

Memory is broken into fragments…
when we ourselves cannot be trusted.

作品簡介：
短髮女子一覺醒來後發現自己身處在陌生的屋子裡，手裡握著一張她與一個背向鏡頭的人的合照。失去記憶的她不斷做著同一個夢，彷彿那是她過去的唯一根據。長髮女子突然出現，對她莫名的呵護備至。短髮女子對她建立信任的同時，也對她忽冷忽熱的態度感到莫名其妙，腦海漸漸浮現零碎的畫面…

Synopsis:
A story about a girl, who suffers from amnesia, finds herself staying in an unfamiliar place with a stranger. The photograph in her hand is the only key to her past, and the recurring dream in her head finally forces her to search her lost past, which inevitably induces the unexplainable reaction of the mysterious stranger…

作者自述：
凝固的畫面證明所謂的曾經存在，但隨時間流逝，記憶淪陷。
畫面開始被扭曲，聲音開始被瓦解，回復不了原狀。
游走在虛實之間，真相無關重要，只是錯置的感覺越來越強烈。

Artist Statement:
Amnesis Time: Aesthetic Amnesia in a multiple, non-linear, fragmentary state; an inclusive of past, present and future.
Memory itself is a lie, an imagination of our present state of mind. When time collapses, dislocation takes place, weird emotions reveal. I start not questioning but accepting illogical events and conversations, allowing unconsciousness to be drawn out from consciousness.
This is just a conceptual story about a profusion of selves in compressed time and space.
